Romario Vieira has spoken of his eagerness to start climbing the leagues following his recent move to Tadcaster Albion.

The 22-year-old left Leeds United back in 2018 and has seen injury misfortune scupper his progress since.

Returning to former club Tadcaster, Vieira hopes it will be the first step back towards the professional game.

He said: “I said that I’d like to come in, train, play a few games, get my sharpness back.

“Moving up the ladder is the main goal but I’m coming in to play and try to win games. It’s a very special club for me as well.”
