Chelmsford City have parted company with striker Shaun Batt.

Batt last featured for the Clarets in the 0-0 draw in the Vanarama National League South with Welling United on Saturday 8th September 2018.

The 33-year-old joined the club in July 2017 as the chosen player to benefit from the Supporters’ Club’s 12th Man Fund, however, several injuries kept the former Leyton Orient striker on the sidelines.

During his spell with the Clarets, Batt scored four goals for the club, including memorable strikes in the Essex Derby against Braintree Town and against Wealdstone in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
