Forward Marlon Jackson is training with Hereford after being released by Newport County in the summer, report the Hereford Times.
The 27-year-old who plays as a striker or a winger made five appearances for Hereford United in 2009 before playing for a host of other clubs.
Most recently he made 28 appearances for Newport County between 2016 and 2018 scoring no goals.
“He’s been training, said Hereford manager Pete Beadle.
“We’re just waiting to see what we can do with one or two things first. He’s training and trained well but that’s as far as it’s gone so far.”
