Boston United have completed the return of their former midfielder David Norris.

Peterborough United

Norris, 37, made his name with Plymouth Argyle but it was while at Boston United in 1999/2000 that he first started to catch the attention. He earned a move to Bolton Wanderers off the back of his Pilgrims form, before a six-year spell at Plymouth began in 2002.

Norris went on to represent Ipswich Town, Portsmouth and Leeds United amongst others.

This move to the Vanarama National League North sees Norris link up again with manager Craig Elliott, having worked with him during Elliott’s time at the Shaw Lane helm.
