Former Chelsea and Leicester City defender Frank Sinclair has joined the academy coaching set-up at Buxton.
The 49-year-old has managed Colwyn Bay and Hednesford Town, and was assistant manager to ex-Manchester City striker Jon Macken at Radcliffe.
Last August, he was appointed head of coaching development at Port Vale, going on to form part of the interim management staff at the League Two club following John Askey’s departure.
He was in charge for two Vale matches this year while interim manager Danny Pugh was absent following a positive COVID test.
The former Jamaica international, who played at the 1998 World Cup in France, left Vale in May.
