Former Queens Park Rangers attacker Antonio German has returned to English football after two spells away in India, signing for National League side Ebbsfleet United.

German made his breakthrough with Rangers back in 2009, playing 20 times and scoring three goals in all competitions in two years before leaving for Stockport County.

He also spent time on loan at Aldershot Town, Yeovil Town and Southend United while a Hoop.

After Stockport, he signed for Brentford on a free transfer in 2012 but played just seven times for the Bees and initially joined Gillingham on loan before making it permanent in the summer of 2013.

After three years in Kent, German moved to Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters for his first spell, before coming back to the United Kingsom with Scottish outfit Partick Thistle. He then went back Kerala Blasters for another stint.

Out there, the 25-year-old played in front of crowds of 70,000.
