Runcorn Town’s attacking options have received a boost, with Dale Jennings returning to the club for the 2020/21 season after a lengthy lay-off due to injury.
Jennings made headlines when he signed for Runcorn in October 2018, ending a break from football after a whirlwind start in the game that saw him move from Tranmere Rovers to European giants Bayern Munich.
His time at Runcorn saw him as a regular but a knee injury picked up just before Christmas saw him sidelined for almost three months. He returned for several games towards the end of the season, making 16 appearances and scoring seven goals in total, before having an operation on his troublesome knee and ensuring that he was fully recovered before contemplating returning.
