Zavon Hines has left Maidstone United.

The winger came in on a short term contract last August, following the news that Jamar Loza would miss the opening weeks of the season after ankle surgery. That deal was due to end in a fortnight’s time and with the 29-year-old wanting to make the most of the January transfer window, it was mutually agreed to cancel his contract with the club.

The winger scored 10 in 25 league and cup appearances for the Stones, which included memorable goals in the games against Eastleigh and Macclesfield Town.
