Dean Holdsworth is one of the names being hotly linked to the vacant manager’s job at Hereford FC, report the Hereford Times.

The Edgar Street club appointed Tim Harris as Head of Football yesterday but are still looking for someone to replace Peter Beadle in a new role of Head Coach.

The Hereford Times understands that Holdsworth, a former Wimbledon striker, has applied for the position and is being considered by the Bulls board.

Holdsworth succeeded Beadle as manager of Newport County in 2008 and has also managed Aldershot Town, Chelmsford Town and Brentwood Town.
