Hereford FC loanee Jimmy Oates has been recalled from his loan spell by parent club Exeter City due to the current injury situation at St James Park.

The right-back had impressed since his return to Edgar Street towards the end of January, making seven appearances for The Bulls.

Speaking to the official website, Head Coach, Marc Richards said: “It’s obviously disappointing for us to lose someone of Jimmy’s quality, he has done a great job since coming back on loan.

“However, from his personal point of view, he now has a great opportunity to get a number of Football League games under his belt, so on that front we are really pleased for him.

“I’d like to thank Jimmy for his performances during his spell with us, and I am sure every Bulls fan will join me in wishing him well for the future.”
