The Buildbase FA Trophy third round draw was made on Monday afternoon, live from the talkSPORT 2 studio.

Taking place on the station’s Ray Stubbs Show, the last 16 of non-League football’s premier cup competition were paired up.

FA Trophy committee chairman Brian Barwick drew out the home teams and non-League expert and reporter Tony Incenzo picked out the away teams.

The draw has a number of eye-catching ties, none more so than National League high-fliers Dover Athletic facing this season’s Trophy debutants Leyton Orient.

And the lowest-ranked side in the third round, Billericay Town, will face a trip to play St Albans City or Harrogate Town who shared a 1-1 draw at the weekend and will face off on Tuesday evening along with the other five ties to be replayed.

Third round ties will take place on Saturday 3 February and winning clubs will pick up £8000 from the competition’s prize fund.

The third round draw

1 St Albans City or Harrogate Town v Billericay Town
2 Maidstone United v Gateshead or Boreham Wood
3 Maidenhead United v Kidderminster Harriers or Stockport County
4 Wealdstone v Ebbsfleet United or Warrington Town
5 Brackley or Barrow v Sutton United
6 Dover Athletic v Leyton Orient
7 Spennymoor Town v East Thurrock United
8 Weston Super Mare or Workington v Bromley
