Fairford Town Football Club is appealing to all former players as part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations.

The first event to celebrate this landmark year will take place on Saturday 5th March which is Former Players’ Day.

Any former Fairford players, coaches or managers are warmly invited to attend – with free entry – for the home league fixture with Shrivenham at Cinder Lane (3pm ko). The clubhouse will be open from 12pm with evening entertainment after the game too, featuring Swindon-based five-piece band ‘Good Times’. There will also be a display of club memorabilia and of course the chance to catch up with former teammates, club officials and managers.

The club is anticipating a big crowd for the fixture with the Reds currently top of Division One West.

Former players/managers are invited to call Club President Mike Tanner (07917 861866) for more information.
