Farnborough have made their first summer signings in Jefferson Louis, George Jeacock and Lenny Pidgeley.
Upon signing, Jefferson Louis, 39, said: “After speaking to Spencer it was a no-brainer to go to Farnborough. Obviously I’ll be the number one striker.
“At my age I just want to keep playing football. I scored 32 goals last season – I just want to keep playing.
“I don’t want to be second fiddle to someone else. I feel like I’ve proven myself last season and I feel like I’m a proven goalscorer in this league.”
George Jeacock, 20, is back for his second spell in Hampshire and returns off the back of a great last season with Didcot Town. The former Oxford United youngster can be deployed as either a full-back, winger or a striker.
Jeacock stated: “Feels good to be back. Excited for a new challenge and can’t wait to get started!”
A new face between the sticks is 6ft 4in shot-stopper Lenny Pidgeley, who signs after his departure from Margate. Pidgeley boasts having played for England’s Under 16’s, 18’s, 19’s and 20’s at youth level and was most notably with Chelsea, Millwall and Newport County.
