Farsley Celtic have confirmed that manager Adam Lakeland and assistant Mark Bett have committed their futures to the club.
The team are on the cusp of the Evo-Stik Premier Division title after near-perfect recent form, requiring a point from Saturday’s season finale at home to Marine to seal promotion to the Vanarama National League North.
Chairman Paul Barthorpe said of the news: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to confirm the signing of our manager Adam Lakeland and assistant manager Mark Bett on long-term contracts with the club.
“They are in my opinion the best and most talented management duo in non-league by a significant distance. They have proven themselves not only at this club but at the previous clubs they have been at.
“They are loved and respected by the fans and players at the club, and these were the first signings I wanted to make! We are all looking forward to a long and successful future under their guidance.”
It follows Barthorpe coming in as chairman, replacing John Palmer and his family. Joshua Greaves and Robert Winterbottom also remain as board members.
