The former Crystal Palace midfielder took over at the club in February 2018 and assured safety, finishing 16th in the National League. After a strong start to last season, the Shaymen eventually finished in 15th position.

The 44-year-old Scot has been commended by the club for successfully overseeing the transition from part-time football to the full-time model currently in place.

The West Yorkshire club say they will seek to appoint a new manager within the coming days.
