FC Halifax Town manager Pete Wild has agreed a new deal with the club.
The former Oldham Athletic boss’ assistant Chris Millington has also committed his future to the National League side for the next two years.
Wild, who led the Shaymen into the play-offs in his first season (2019/20) at the helm, told the club’s website:
“Chris and I are thrilled to extend our stay at the club. Since day one, we along with all members of staff have worked tirelessly to ensure we are competitive on and off the pitch.
“We have been determined to put this club back on the map and give the supporters something to be proud of. We feel we have laid the foundations of this project and are excited now to put the next layer on top.
“I would like to thank the chairman for his continuous support. He has been a pleasure to work for, as are all the staff at the club.
“Without David giving us a chance, we would never have had a platform to blossom, and for that, we’re truly grateful.”
