FC Isle of Man have named Chris Bass as the club’s first manager.
It is proposed that the club will join the English football pyramid next season, entering the North West Counties Football League. In Chris Bass, they have decided to hand the reins to an extremely experienced manager.
Over the past two decades, Bass has been leading fellow Manx club St Georges, with the Douglas-based club lifting more than 40 trophies during a sensational tenure.
It was announced in December that FC Isle of Man’s application to join the English Football League system at Step 6 was to be taken to the Football Association by the North West Counties Football League. It was stated that the NWCFL will recommend that the club are accepted, providing the appropriate criteria is met by 31st March 2020.
