Michael Donohue has signed for National League North club FC United of Manchester having been released by League One side Fleetwood Town last week.
Donohue joined the FC United on loan from the Cod Army in September and has made 22 appearances for the Reds this season.
Twenty-one-year-old Donohue began his career with Everton, moving on loan to Barrow AFC in February 2016.
He signed for Fleetwood in July 2017, making his senior debut for the club on in November 2017 in an EFL Trophy match against Carlisle United.
In March 2018 he signed on loan for then-National League North side Tamworth.
He made his debut for FC United at home against Bradford Park Avenue in David Chadwick’s first game in charge as caretaker manager.
