Boston United manager Craig Elliott has wished goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons well as he joins Stockport County.
The former Notts County stopper has stepped up to the National League with the Hatters, with Boston’s National League North campaign having been ended last month.
The Pilgrims have received ‘a small, undisclosed fee’ for the 26-year-old.
Elliott told the club’s website:
“In his short time at the club, Ross showed his pedigree as an outstanding keeper.
“When Stockport County contacted us about the possibility of taking him for the rest of the season, I felt it was a good offer and especially a good opportunity for Ross that we could not turn down.
“He goes with our best wishes, and we wish Stockport the best of luck in their quest for promotion back to the EFL.”
