Garry Hill says goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore is totally committed to Ebbsfleet United this season.
Ashmore, who joined the club in 2016, was one of the six players made available for a free transfer in May.
He saw team-mates Corey Whitely and Ebou Adams get moves into the EFL but no other deals were done.
Ashmore has been ever-present in pre-season and looks set to start the National League campaign as Fleet’s No.1 again.
Hill said: “On his day, the goalkeeper’s as good as any in the league. He’s totally with me and he’s totally with the club.
“There was a question, where a lot’s gone on and he felt that he was a little bit mixed-up but he’s given me and the football club every opportunity to build for the new season.”
