Ebbsfleet United have signed Charlton Athletic midfielder Albie Morgan on an initial one-month loan.
The 19-year-old has already broken into the Addicks first team, making 18 appearances for Charlton in all competitions since last season, eight of them in League One and one earlier this campaign in the Championship.
The Medway-born player, who lives in Rochester and turned out at the Kuflink Stadium for the Addicks in pre-season, has come through the Charlton youth ranks from age nine and also spent time with Welling United as a youngster.
Fleet’s new recruit is very highly rated by Charlton boss Lee Bowyer and the club’s management staff. “He has ability, I think that’s obvious to see,” Bowyer has said of him. “He has awareness and cleverness and, technically, he’s a very, very good and gifted player.”
