Ebbsfleet United have agreed a two-month loan deal for National League side Sutton United`s defender Louis John.

The 22-year-old centre-back has just returned from a loan spell with Fleet`s league rivals Hampton & Richmond Borough and could now play against the Beavers next Tuesday night.

Standing 6`3”, John is a solid, athletic player who scored 2 goals on his England C debut in the summer versus Slovakia to cap off a memorable season where he played ten games to help boost Sutton’s late run to the league title.

He began his career at Sutton, coming through their youth and reserve side, before making a brief move into the Football League with Crawley Town.

Released by the Sussex club in the summer of 2014, he returned to Sutton and although initially restricted by injury, he is very well regarded at Gander Green Lane, having played his part in a play-off campaign (2013/14) and a league-title campaign (2015/16).

He has played two games in the National League for Sutton this season, as well as the month on loan at Hampton where he turned out for six games.

He has also previously played for Hemel Hempstead Town, Bognor Regis Town and Metropolitan Police on loan.
