Wrexham have signed attacker Bobby Grant from League One side Fleetwood Town.
The 28-year-old has penned a short-term loan with the club making him a Wrexham player until early January 2019. The paperwork was agreed on Friday afternoon, but the deal was too late for his consideration in the match day squad against Leyton Orient on Saturday afternoon.
However, the club now confirm that his international clearance has been granted ready for his possible inclusion for Tuesday evening’s trip to Barrow, and the paperwork has been rubber-stamped by both the National League and the EFL.
Grant began life with Accrington Stanley, breaking through the youth ranks before signing professional terms in 2006. In 2010, he moved on to Scunthorpe United in the Championship.
In 2012, he spent time on loan with former club Accrington, grabbing three goals in eight games before joining Rochdale, where he had spent time on loan a year beforehand.
Grant earned a move to Blackpool in 2013 in the Championship before departing in the summer of 2015 and making the short hop across to Fleetwood.
