Salford City have made three signings in quick succession, with Fleetwood Town legend Nathan Pond arguably the standout capture.

Centre-back Pond, 33, has been with Fleetwood 15 years and he links back up with his former manager Graham Alexander. The Ammies have paid an undisclosed fee for his services.

Also arriving to bolster the squad ahead of their first Vanarama National League season are FC United of Manchester midfielder Kieran Glynn, Macclesfield Town midfielder Danny Whitehead and goalkeeper Chris Neal, recently let go by Fleetwood.
