Witham Town FC have been quick to appoint a new caretaker manager until the end of the season.

A meeting was held this morning between Mark Nicholls Club Chairman, Jamie Baker Vice Chairman and Adam Flint.




Adam has previously had a management role at the club as assistant manager to Danny Greaves when the club was in the essex senior league. Adam knows the club well and will be assisted by James Robinson, both know the local football circuit and what’s needed to keep the club in the Ryman Football League.

The appointment was confirmed at 12.30pm today and Adam & James will meet the player’s this week.

Adam said ” when an opportunity like this comes along you do not say no, it’s a bold move by the club”.

He went on to say ” Garry will be a hard act to follow and I know how important it is for the club stay in the Ryman League”.
