Bromley have confirmed that they have accepted a transfer request from goalkeeper Alan Julian.
Alan was part of our history making Conference South winning side which won promotion as champions to the top-flight of non-league football.
Alan Julian said, “First things first, what a great time I’ve had at Bromley FC, I have some brilliant memories, winning the title and celebrating with my son on the pitch was a real special moment.
“A special thank you to the fans who have welcomed me from day one and have always been so supportive both home and away. A big thank you to the managers, coaches and physio department I’ve worked with and of course David always helping with my silly demands regarding kit.
“Also a special mention to ‘Shims’ my goalkeeping coach who has had a massive influence on me and please be sure that Bromley have one of the best goalkeeping coaches I’ve ever worked with.”
They have announced the signing of experienced goalkeeper Ross Flitney.
Flitney began his career with Arsenal before going on to join Fulham. Ross will be known by Bromley supporters for his long spell at Eastleigh which began as a loan from Gillingham, where he went on to make over 145 appearances for the club.
Neil Smith said, “It’s great to have Ross on board with all his experience. It was an easy decision to make with Ross having played at this level and above as well as having a great reputation and a hunger to stay and play at the highest level possible.”
Ross said, “I’m pleased with the move, I have worked with Neil Smith before and I know about the Club’s ambitions so I knew it was the right decision. Also for me to get back to playing at the highest level possible is exciting and I look forward to the challenge ahead.”
