Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club Cinderford Town have agreed a fee with Weston-super-Mare for the transfer of striker Gethyn Hill.
Hill has now agreed terms and has signed for the Seagulls.
Hill was released by Cardiff City after enduring an injury ravaged two years, which saw him tear his ACL and undergo five operations.
The former Wales under-19 international regained fitness at Christmas in 2014 before being released the following March.
He was briefly with Welsh League side Goytre United, but left after one game and took the rest of last season off before joining Cinderford this summer.
Both clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee for the transfer which will also see Cinderford benefit further if Hill is sold in the future.
Weston will also travel to the Causeway for a pre-season friendly in 2017 as part of the deal.
