Worsbrough Bridge have named Luke Forgione as the club’s new manager.

It follows the decision of previous boss Lee Morris to step down from his role with the South Yorkshire side.

Forgione will be accompanied by Gareth Hunter as his assistant manager and James Ritchie as first-team coach.

Chairman Mark Booth told the club’s website: “We were all disappointed that Lee Morris had to step away from the club for personal reasons, but with games coming thick and fast, it was important that we looked to make what we believe is the right appointment for the club.

“Luke has made no secret that Worsbrough Bridge AFC is a club he wanted to manage, having been a player and captain here, and we are naturally excited about the future.”
