Lee Turnbull has returned to former club Chesterfield in a football advisory role.
The 53-year-old former attacking player played for the Spireites between 1991 and 1994.
On taking up the role with the club, the ex-Barrow manager said:
“I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to assist the club by helping the chairman, the chief executive and the board. Setting up and implementing a recruitment strategy will help us to have a clear and defined process to sign players and attract high-calibre youngsters.
“We have short-term plans in place which need to be addressed, and then the focus can be on building a solid infrastructure in order to make progress.”
