Former Manchester City defender Stephen Jordan will be the latest new arrival at Chorley this summer, he has signed a pre-contract agreement and will officially sign when his Fleetwood Town contract expires in July.
The 34-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the club, with 233 career appearances
including 78 in the Premier League for City and Burnley.
He started his career at Manchester City in the Kevin Keegan era, but had to wait until Stuart Pearce took over before making his debut in 2002 following a loan spell with Cambridge United.
After 64 appearances for his boyhood club be joined Burnley, helping the club to promotion to the Premier League in 2008/09.
Spells with Sheffield United, Huddersfield Town, Rochdale and Dunfermline Athletic followed before his joined the Cod Army in 2013/14.
Stephen is the sixth new face to join during the close season, joining other new Magpies Adam Blakeman, Matt Challoner, Sefton Gonzalez, Scott Leather and Josh O’Keefe.
