Former fans favourite Matty Moffat has completed a return to EBAC Northern League club West Auckland Town.
The striker captained the County Durham side between 2010 and 2014, appearing in two FA Vase defeats during his first spell with the club.
West manager Andy Campbell has now brought Moffatt back to the club from league rivals Newton Aycliffe, where he scored twenty two goals last season.
As well as a number of team mates from his first spell with the club, Moffatt will also be reunited with his former Gateshead strike partner Steven Richardson.
And Moffat isn’t the only new addition to the squad.
Jarrow Roofing centre back Michael Laws has completed a move to the Wanted Stadium.
The experienced defender counts Gateshead, Whitley Bay and Blyth Spartans amongst his former clubs.
The club currently sit bottom of the Northern League Division One table, having won only one of their first seven games.
Moffat and Laws go straight into the West squad for their FA Vase match at home to fellow Northern League club Seaham Red Star on Saturday.
