Two more players have been added to the new look Coalville Town squad in the form of former Ilkeston duo Jamie Hannis and Dexter Atkinson.
Jamie is a tall commanding goalkeeper who also has great distribution skills with his feet.
After leaving Aston Villa’s academy he joined Ilkeston in the summer of 2015 before being loaned out to Heanor where he gained valuable experience playing in the FA Youth Cup before being knocked out by Premier League Newcastle United.
He made his Ilkeston debut on the 19th January 2016 impressing in an away draw at Rushall before establishing himself as the Robins number 1.
Dexter is a pacey striker/winger who again was with Ilkeston last season but has also played for Dunkirk, Stapleford & Sheffield FC.
He spent half of the 14/15 season playing in Gibraltar for Europa Point FC where he scored 26 goals in 19 apperences, making him the leading goalscorer in the top two flights in Gibraltar after only joing half way through.
On his return to England he signed for Ilkeston in 2015 and has been in the first team ever since.
The beady eyed Coalville fans may well recognise him as he came on against Coalville last season at the MCSS only to be sent off for an alleged elbow on Dean Freeman when challenging for a high ball!
