Curzon Ashton have signed former Northern Ireland international wide player Johnny Gorman.
Twenty-three-year-old Gorman has nine caps for his country – including an appearance against Italy – having made his international bow in 2010 aged just 17.
He featured for Manchester City and Manchester United at youth level before joining Wolves, making his first-team debut in the Premier League in 2012.
However, that was to be his only Wolves appearance, with Sheffield-born Gorman going on loan to Plymouth Argyle, Macclesfield Town and Cambridge United.
After being released by Wolves he joined Leyton Orient in League One but struggled to make an impact.
During the 2014/15 season he played five times for Southport and then joined Barrow AFC in October, making twenty-one appearances.
And then in the summer of 2015 he signed for Curzon`s league rivals AFC Telford United.
However, things didn`t quite work out for him at the New Bucks Head and he spent the final part of last season on loan to Colwyn Bay in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division.
