Darlington have signed former Dunfermline Athletic midfielder Josh Falkingham.
Falkingham started his career as a youth player with his local side Leeds United.
However, he was unable to break into the senior side at Elland Road and was released in 2010.
In March 2010 he signed for Scottish Premier side St Johnstone on a short-term deal, but made only one appearance and was allowed to leave in the summer of 2010.
In June 2010 he joined Third Division Arbroath where he became a regular and helped the club to promotion to the Scottish Second Division.
After helping Arbroath to reach the play-offs, he was subsequently named in the PFA Second Division team of the year.
In all Falkingham made seventy appearances, scoring 17 times for Arbroath before moving to then First Division side Dunfermline Athletic in June 2012.
The 25-year-old spent four years at the Pars, making over 150 appearances for the side, including 35 last season as Dunfermline clinched promotion to the Championship, before somewhat surprisingly being released.
