Truro City have secured the services of experienced former Exeter City and Torquay United defender Chris Todd.
The 35-year-old, who was manager of National League side Eastleigh earlier this season, becomes player-coach at Truro and is available for tomorrow’s home game against Hampton & Richmond Borough.
“Chris’ know-how and experience will be a real asset,” said manager, Lee Hodges. “He will be a big help to us both on and off-the-field.”
There is further good news as Jack Smith has had his loan spell from Eastleigh extended.
The emerging defender missed last weekend’s game having been recalled by the Hampshire club but he has been allowed to return to Treyew Road.
Meanwhile fellow loanee Louis Rooney will be available for selection again at the weekend, as will Rory Fallon after the duo returned from international duty.
