Former Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jamie O’Hara has signed for ambitious Ryman League club Billericay Town.
The 30-year-old, who also played for Blackpool and Fulham left Gillingham at the end of last season and has been without a club since then.
The club also signed former England international Paul Konchesky earlier this month and have been linked with a move for former West Ham United striker Carlton Cole.
Billericay have made a number of impressive signings since being taken over by multi-millionaire Glenn Tamplin, whilst earlier this week club chairman Dan Groves confirmed “there is truth” in reports Mark Wright is looking to invest in the club.
They currently sit in ninth position in the Ryman League Premier Division and are five points behind Tonbridge Angels, who occupy the final play-off spot in fifth.
