Guiseley defender Nathan Newall has signed a dual-registration deal with Frickley Athletic.
The 17-year-old left-back graduated through Guiseley Academy last season and signed first-team forms ahead of the FA Cup trip to Staveley Miners Welfare.
Newall impressed in pre-season and has remained around the first-team squad before earning SRUSA’s ‘Most Valuable Player’ award at their pre-season tournament, which Dave Currie’s Young Lions won.
Newall made his debut for the Bet Victor South East Division side in their 3-2 defeat at Carlton Town. The youngster was said to have had an “outstanding game” by his new side in their match report.
