Brightlingsea Regent have announced the return of Aaron Condon

‘Azza’ returns to the R’s after leaving the club in the summer to join Coggeshall Town. Condon spent two seasons with the Regent and was a huge part of the club winning promotion to the Bostik Premier Division In 2016-17

Over two seasons, he scored an impressive 51 goals in 103 appearances

Manager Tom Rothery added: “It was disappointing to lose Aaron in the summer and the circumstances around it.

“Losing James and Aaron who were important players last season was a blow and I think our goals for shows that we need more options in attacking areas and somebody of Azza’s quality isn’t easy to find, the fact he knows the players, club and the staff and me makes it an easy fit.

“I think it’s an exciting signing and somebody I know will help us improve in the final third of the pitch so I’m delighted we’ve been able to get him back in the building and the fact he comes back as our 12th man signing shows what the supporters think of the signing, I know they will be delighted he is back in the red and black of Regent as I am and the players are already buzzing about him coming back to us too.”
