Woking’s board have shared their confidence in Alan Dowson and his staff after they agreed new deals with the club.
Dowson led the Cards back to the National League in his first season after taking over three years ago and has now committed until 2023.
Chairman Rosemary Johnson told the club’s website: “Dowse and his team know the club, know the ambition of the club, and I have full confidence they will be successful as we move forwards.”
The club’s football liaison director Kelvin Reay added: “Since joining the club, Dowse and his team have been a huge success. This season has been difficult, but we are looking forward to the future, and I am excited to see what comes over the next two years.”
John Katz, who joined earlier this season as a director, said: “Dowse, Ian, Martin and Matt are the obvious choices to lead the club moving forward. With full-time football and a playing budget built to compete with the top clubs in the Conference heading into next season, we have the perfect gaffer and backroom staff to restore our club’s proud heritage and to bring glory back to the Laithwaite.”
