Welling United have signed defender Ali Fuseini from Vanarama National League South rivals Margate.

Ghanaian-born Fuseini joined Millwall from Sunday league football and made his first-team debut against Gillingham in September 2006.

Although he was an unused sub on that occasion, he went on to make several more appearances for the first-team.

?Fuseini was born and brought up in Accra, the capital of Ghana, but followed his mother, Mariam, a nurse, to Catford in 2000.

Once at St Joseph’s Academy, Blackheath, he discovered he had a talent for football, and was soon playing in midfield for Sunday league team Dulmore Albion.

He featured over seventy times over four-year spell with Millwall, which included being part of the squad that was promoted via the play-offs in 2010.

After his release from Millwall, Fuseini trialled at Leyton Orient before being snapped up by then League Two Lincoln City but he was only to last a season there before relegation from the Football League meant his contract was terminated.

A short period at Eastleigh followed before his first stint at Bromley where his defensive midfield performances won him praise from across the non-League scene.

Fuseini spent a short time at Sutton United before returning to Bromley. However, he found his match time limited and joined Margate in June
