Sheffield FC have re-signed Andrew Gascoigne from Shaw Lane FC.
Andy has had recent experience playing for Harrogate Town in the Vanarama National League North where his goal-scoring abilities quickly made him a favourite with the fans. Andy is a fiercely competitive attack-minded midfielder who scores goals for fun and on his day, can compete with the best.
Gascoigne made his first debut on 23rd September 2008, in a 2-1 win at home to Goole in President’s Cup when he came on as substitute and scored. He was sub in the next two, before being named man-of-the-match in the epic 3-3 FA Cup draw at Guiseley, making his first start in the replay which Club won 2-1. He went on to appear in 210 games (178 starts and 32 from the bench) scoring 86 goals
Manager James Colliver said; “Gazza will add quality to the squad, he knows the club and he’s delighted to be back. Gazza has a wealth of experience at this level and above he’s also able to chip in with important goals.”
