Young Gateshead midfielder Kieran Green has extended his loan at Blyth Spartans until 13 January 2018. The 20-year-old has spent the past month at Croft Park, making five appearances in all competitions.
Green played for Spartans in their FA Trophy victory against Telford last night and will be able to be recalled by Gateshead at any time before the end of his loan spell if necessary.
The former Hartlepool United youngster is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Heed’s first team this campaign but will be hoping his spell in Northumberland can help him push on once he returns.
