Enfield Town have announced the signing of central defender Curtis Ujah for the 2016-17 season.
Curtis joins the club from Chesham United, for whom he made his debut in August 2015.
Aged 27, he previously had spells at clubs including St Albans City, Maidenhead United, Bishops Stortford, Boreham Wood and Hayes & Yeading United.
He made 48 competitive appearances for the Generals in 2015-16, scoring half a dozen goals in the process, including the opening goal in the FA Cup tie against Town at the Meadow last October.
Manager Bradley Quinton said “I am very pleased to secure the services of Curtis for the coming season. He has had the experience of gaining promotion from the Ryman Premier Division into the Conference South with Boreham Wood in 2009-10, and it is that sort of experience, coupled with his outstanding leadership qualities, that makes him such a great signing for us. I’m looking forward to working with him in the coming season.”
