After an impressive second half performance against Lincoln City on Friday which he capped with goal Danny Dunkin completed Evo-Stik Northern Premier League forms with Grantham Town.

A former County youth team leading scorer Danny spent last season with UCL Premier Harrowby United where he netted 20 goals in 29 appearances before an ankle injury side-lines him towards the end of the season.

Commenting on the signing Adam Stevens said “Danny has done very well in training and got his chance in the second half against Lincoln and showed that he can make the step up from UCL to Northern Premier I am delighted to have him on board. “

Luke Shaw has also joined the Gingerbreads from Ilkeston.

Shaw, who came through the Ilkeston academy, had a loan spell last season at Belper. He played in the second half for the Gingerbreads against Lincoln City last Friday as a loan player but has now completed Evo-Stik forms for the club.
