Barwell manager Jimmy Ginnelly was delighted with hat-trick hero Brady Hickey after his side picked up three points at Frickley Athletic.
The skipper struck three times in the first-half to guide the Canaries to their first win in seven matches.
The Barwell boss was pleased with the performance of the teenager as Barwell move to just five points of the play-off places.
“He’s a young kid and is enjoying his football,” said Ginnelly.
“He could have moved up a level or two and decided to stay here. We’re delighted with that and we’re getting the reward back from him.
“He gets into the box at good and important times and it was great for Brady to get one with his head as well.”
