Handsworth Parramore have confirmed the signing of defender Micky Harcourt from Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division side Matlock Town.
Harcourt has been an integral part of the Gladiators NPL squad in a successful 5 year stint at Causeway Lane.
He started his non league career at Alfreton Town before a brief spell at Belper Town.
He then moved to Matlock at the beginning of the 2011/12 season where he went onto make over 200 appearances for the NPL outfit.
Harcourt has been captain of Matlock and was last season crowned MTFC Players Player of the year and arrives at the Ambers with great experience and a fantastic pedigree.
Ambers manager Mick Godber said of the signing “Micky is an experienced strong defender who is equally at home at centre half or full back.
He’s very good on the ball and has been one of Matlock’s best players over the last few years and I’m delighted to have brought him in”
