Midfielder Connor Gater has joined Stourbridge on a month’s loan from Worcester City, and goes into the squad for Saturday’s game at Blyth Spartans.

24-year old Gater joined the Vanarama National League club in 2014 and was part of their squad that knocked Coventry City out of the Emirates FA Cup that season before losing to Scunthorpe United on penalties.

He has previously played for Halesowen Town,Sporting Khalsa and Gornal Athletic, as well as for England Schoolboys at Under 18 level.

Gater was briefly registered as a Stourbridge player during his time at Gornal in 2012/13, but his only appearance at the War memorial Ground was actually for Gornal in a Birmingham Senior Cup tie.
