Gloucester City have announced the departure of manager Chris Todd.
Former Torquay United player Todd was appointed on 9th October, having previously managed Eastleigh, but the Welshman has recently seen his side slip into trouble in the Vanarama National League South. Their 3-1 home loss to bottom side Weston-super-Mare last time out saw them drop into the relegation places, leading Todd to release a statement saying that there was a realisation that they were not good enough and could go down.
The 37-year-old did, however, state that he fully believed he could turn matters around. Nevertheless, the former defender departs the club today.
Tom Webb and Mike Green have been put in caretaker charge.
