James Rowe is confident Gloucester City’s fortunes can turn around quickly following their 6-1 defeat at Alfreton Town.
Tigers players and coaching staff apologised to visiting fans at the end of the game with boss Rowe calling the performance “unacceptable.”
He has made big changes to the squad with several new faces joining the club in recent weeks and is hopeful that they will gel quickly to start moving up the National League North table.
Gloucester are currently three points above the relegation zone and face play-off chasing Spennymoor Town at home on Saturday.
“We must dust ourselves down and not feel sorry for ourselves,” said Rowe.
“We have got to make sure we focus on the positives, which is that we’ve got very good players with the additions we’ve made we’ve got a good calibre of players and experience, so we will come together and move forward this Saturday.”
