It comes after the Tigers were granted planning permission yesterday by Gloucester City Council for a 3,208-capacity stadium at Meadow Park, taking them a big step closer to returning home for the first time since the floods of 2007 that ruined their old ground.

They are hoping the funding application will be reviewed at the end of next week and have been given approval by the National League to start next season at Evesham United before moving back to Gloucester when the ground is ready.
